Mashed Turnips with Crispy Shallots

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Fry the shallots in oil at 250 until golden brown, then drain and cool.
  2. Boil the turnips in salted water until easily pierced with a knife, then mash the turnips, add the butter and milk, and season to taste.
  3. Plate, garnish with the crispy shallots, and serve.
